Self-braking descender with anti-panic function for rescue<\/p>\n
The I’D L self-braking descender is primarily intended for rescue. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle to comfortably control the descent. The integrated panic function and the anti-error cam reduce the risk of accidents in the event of incorrect use. The AUTO-LOCK system allows you to stop, without having to use the handle and make the stop key. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle. The opening click allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness. I’D L is compatible with ropes from 12.5 to 13 mm and allows the handling of loads up to 280 kg. <\/p>\n

\nDesigned for rescue.
\nEase of use:
\n– it has an opening click on the movable flange that allows you to easily insert the rope, keeping the device connected to the harness,
\n– easy installation of the rope, thanks to the guide and indicative markings,
\n– anti-error rope stopper to limit the risk of accident due to incorrect insertion of the rope,
\n– Ergonomic handle that allows you to free the rope and comfortably control the descent. Two descent options: on the flange or in the V-shaped braking groove,
\n– anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls the handle too hard,
\n– allows smooth movements on horizontal surfaces or inclined planes,
\n– AUTO-LOCK system that allows you to stop, without having to use the handle and make the stop key: when the user releases the handle, The rope is automatically locked in the device. Automatic return of the handle reduces the risk of unintentional snagging,
\n automatic passage of the handle to the rest position when the rope is removed from the device, which reduces the risks of unintentional snagging when carrying the descender on the harness.
\nVersatility of use:
\n– once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle, allowing you to make a recovery system reversible or to easily make short rope ascents,
\n– cam that can be used to easily take a rope or secure a lead climber,
\n– screw that allows you to lock the mobile flange to integrate the I’D L into rescue kits,
\n– possibility of adding an additional brake, open or closed, for better control of the descent according to the load and the diameter of the rope.
\nProtective reinforcement, in stainless steel in the area where the rope rubs, which allows to increase wear resistance.
\nHeavy load descent up to 280 kg.
