\nDESCRIPTION The Ferrata Tour GTX is a mountaineering boot that combines climbing performance with the best possible walking comfort. Its multifunctionality makes it suitable for alpine tours in mixed terrain, but also for easy tours with glacier passages. The HANWAG TubeTec Rock sole technology is specially designed for mountaineering: The soft PU inside a robust TPU shell ensures a comfortable ascent and descent with outstanding performance on rock, ice and snow. The soft TPU “tube” protects the polyurethane, which is responsible for good and long-lasting cushioning. At the same time, the ribs and internal TPU reinforcements ensure stride stability and precise guidance. The sole impresses with the Vibram Integral Light tread design, the reinforced front of the heel and the proven Vibram “Mont Compound” compound, for excellent traction on descents. In addition, the crampon-compatible model’s Climbing Zone is reinforced with TPU, which gives the sole perfect edge stability in the big toe area. What else characterizes the Ferrata Tour GTX? Its classic leather underside for a perfect fit meets a stable yet flexible upper, made of particularly abrasion-resistant fabric with polyamide and polyurethane yarns. This allows the necessary freedom of movement in the ankle joint to be able to tackle the rock precisely. The toe area is specially insulated for use on alpine hikes – the GORE-TEX Duratherm ensures maximum thermal insulation. The boot volume can be varied and customized with an additional insole. The Alpine Wide last also offers a slightly larger forefoot area for greater comfort, but without sacrificing climbing performance and precision in approach. <\/p>\n
